Chaminade College Preparatory seeks a dynamic, innovative, and engaging BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES TEACHER with great classroom management skills for our high school campus in West Hills, California.

At Chaminade our faculty enjoy being part of a team that is setting the standard in Catholic education. We are a 1:1 tablet school and faculty must be comfortable integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning. Chaminade faculty collaborate with colleagues to maximize student learning and are themselves lifelong learners.

Minimum Education and Experience Preferred

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required. A master’s degree and/or teaching credential in the subject discipline is preferred. Prior teaching experience in a Catholic educational setting is strongly preferred.

Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time salaried exempt from overtime position. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
